Books Unbound Initiative is excited to launch the Literacy Expansion & Access Program (LEAP) an expansion of the literacy programs we’ve already been building in our community.
Even with limited resources, our existing efforts have already provided 12 hours of one-on-one tutoring and helped us collect and distribute more than 500 books to young readers. LEAP will allow us to build on that foundation, reaching more students with free books, tutoring, and meaningful opportunities to strengthen their reading skills.
This program is about taking what we’ve already started and making it bigger, more accessible, and more sustainable. With the support of our community and generous partners, we can put even more books into the hands of young people and help make literacy resources available to those who need them most.
